After announcing in the newsletter that I was doing a story on a different Edison Group subject, lost from the experiment, I’ve had a change of heart. I started the story, then realized that introducing a new character so soon after The Gathering comes out might not be such a good idea. Too many new characters. So, after all that fuss with getting ideas and running a poll, I’m doing something completely different. I will keep that idea, though, likely for 2012.

As for what the 2011 story will be about…you’ll see soon

The new story doesn’t have a title yet. After a few chapters are up, I’ll run another contest for ideas.

Chapters will be posted on the 1st and the 15th. If I post it early, that doesn’t mean another is coming on the usual date–I seem to get asked that a lot!

Also, it’s starting with a prologue, which is NOT narrated by the same character who narrates the rest of the story.

Finally, for those who missed it in the newsletter, this story is being posted on the blog, then removed (after the complete version has been up for a month or so). It’s a special treat for those who follow the blog. Afterward, I’ll do something else with it.
