Just a quick note to say that, as promised (threatened? ) the Belonging novella will be removed May 15. Edited to add: I removed it May 22, giving folks an extra week. But it’s down now and will likely reappear as an ebook this summer.

If you want to save a copy for your personal use, you’re welcome to do that. I’ll just ask that you please, please do not save it with the intention of posting it online so those who didn’t read it here don’t have to pay to read it later. I do edit and polish the stories and put them up as ebooks, for the lowest feasible cost, to bring them to a wider audience. That process isn’t free — I pay for editing, cover art, formatting and processing — which is why there’s a charge for the ebook version.

The stories are posted free here first as a gift to those readers who care enough about the series to seek out and follow the blog. Everyone else has to pay and I’d like to keep it that way
