Calling ARC Giveaway – Maya
Note: the winner was Tish from British Columbia (appropriately I’ve got a few more Calling ARCs* to give away. I’m going to do that this week, posting a contest a day until they’re gone. There was an enhanced ebook version of The Gathering that had a whole bunch of extras. Now that it’s been out almost a year, I have the publisher’s permission to share some of them with you. For these contests, I’ll be posting a page from the yearbook and asking a question about it. Then, just before The Calling comes out, I’ll post the two short stories that I wrote for the extras. We’ll start with Maya! Her yearbook page is below. To enter the contest, tell me what her mom does for a living. Email your answer to contest@kelleyarmstrong.com before midnight Eastern Monday Feb 27. I’ll choose one correct answer tomorrow. UPDATE: Guys, please read the instructions on how to enter! I just deleted eight pending comments with the answer. Not only are you giving it away, but you’re not actually entering the contest.

I agree on all counts! I’m so sad that we won’t be getting regular books but I’m keeping hope that the series isn’t totally finished and we will one day get another book or two in the series! Have you heard that Xaviere is doing a bookmark for 13? Kelley posted it on her twitter and I love Xaviere’s illustrations! She did the ‘graphic novel’ illustrations that are on the harper teen mobi site of Derek and Chloe in the playground! She’s really good! I am going to have to find out how to get the bookmarks!
