Gathering ARC Giveaway #…??
I really should keep track of these so I can do better subject lines. I still have a few ARCs to give away and I want to do those this week. I’ll do one Friday, when I announce my tour dates. And I’ll do one now. So, speaking of tours… I have school visits for the rest of the week. I was looking up the address of the one tomorrow morning so I’d see how god-awful early I need to get up to drive to it. When I googled the school name, though, I got pages of hits for a Miley Cyrus song. Weird. Turns out, she has a song by the same name…because the woman who wrote it went to that school here in Ontario. Let’s have some fun with this odd tidbit of trivia, then, as I send you on an Internet scavenger hunt for the answer. Email contest@kelleyarmstrong.com with: 1) the name of the school I’ll be visiting 2) the “real” address of it. In Ontario, not in the song. Give me the street address and city name. I will accept entries until noon tomorrow (March 9), when I’ll draw from correct ones and notify the winner via email. DO NOT POST THE ANSWER HERE. I now officially know more about Miley Cyrus than I ever cared to. Also, I feel exceedingly old. But it was a fun little hunt, so thanks for that.
Lol! Thankfully I think I avoided the worst of the Miley Cyrus information overload but it was still fun! I love these sort of comps!

well that took me hours and hours but i found it….!!!! though the person above said that she already knew the answer so now i feel depressed since it took me 3 hours and i finally found it while she didnt even have to look for the answer and just typed it up….*sigh*

Yeah I think I had it in about 10! I probably could have found it by ringing my niece though, she loves Hannah Montana and probably has the Miley albums at home to torture my brother with! (though I find it really funny that my brother has whispered to me that he secretly likes a couple of ‘Hannah’s’ songs but not to tell anyone! Yeah right, like I’m really gonna keep quiet with info like that! Lol!) My niece probably could have given me the answer straight away but it’s more fun to find it for yourself!

First scavenger hunt ever.. and it was about Miley Cyrus. Though, I’m thankful, because I never arrive to these contests on time and I did this time! What were the odds? I’m so excited!
Oh, and you’re awesome since you go to that school! I hope she comes to Ohio sometime.. or maybe Kentucky. I know people down there whom I can bribe to get her autograph. lol.

Doing research for a competition was quite fun! Didn’t take me that long and I felt like I EARNED that entry. : ) Wish Kelley would have come to my school when I was younger. Though I was lucky enough to meet her and get my books signed on her first UK tour last year. : )
So Lucky! I’m in Northern Ireland and I so wanted to travel to Manchester for the signing cause my brother still lives there but I couldn’t afford the plane fare! I was so dissappointed, espeacially as I was in Manchester for an appointment like 2 weeks before she was going to be doing the signing, I was so depressed that I was having to miss it

I think I also entered a little too late. But I do know that I got all of the info right, because it was my school. It was so cool to have Kelley come to the school and talk to us. I really enjoyed it. I got all three of my Darkest Powers books signed, and my grandmother’s copy of Bitten signed too!^_^
